We want to inspire you to "Kick Cramp's Ass" in an effort to educate our community about practical, holistic methods for self-care! Kick Cramp's Ass is hosting the. Period Action DAy - Womb Wellness Workshop to advocate for positive techniques to take back control of our wombs! This interactive workshop aims to serve, heal and educate for menstrual equity, period poverty and womb wellness in the underrepresented (melanin, women, LGBTQ+, military affiliates & individuals w/ disabilities) community in an effort to achieve optimal wellness.
As women of color, we often are hindered with uterine health issues that not only interfere with our wombs but our overall optimal wellness. Come out and join us as we present the "Kick Cramp’s Ass!" Workshop facilitated for Brittany Walker, M.S. where we will deep dive into applicable knowledge to become a Womb Wellness Goddess!

Ways Heat Induced Dehydration Affects Your Cycle
Did you know that heat induced dehydration can affect your menstrual cycle?! When the body is dehydrated and overheated during your cycle, adverse outcomes happen due to the chemical reactions in the body.
Ways that you can avoid an enhancement of your period symptoms:
🩸 Drink plenty of water daily (8 cups or 4 ‘15.9oz’ water bottles)
🩸 Get ample rest
🩸 Eat whole nutritious foods (especially fruits high in water content)
🩸 Limit alcohol and caffeine intake
🩸 Eliminate stress and anxiety from things that are not within your control
